About me – The Silent Art of Seeing
The silent art of seeing reveals itself beyond the obvious.
My name is Julia - a photographer devoted to those subtle moments that only unveil themselves to the patient and attentive eye. A butterfly pausing in stillness, the translucent wings of a dragonfly glowing in the evening light, the quiet dignity of an animal, or the almost hidden elegance of a blossom - each holds a power that thrives in silence.
My work invites you to look deeper, to slow your pace, and to discover beauty in its purest, most delicate form. These are not merely photographs - they are invitations to pause.
What makes my portfolio even more personal are the works that reflect my own family’s connection to photography: images of my two sons - Marius and Maximilian, who constantly remind me of the essence of life, and the outstanding photographs of my father - Otto, - a true Namibia expert, capturing Africa’s vastness and uniqueness with incomparable mastery. In this way, the quiet intimacy of small moments meets the grandeur of distant horizons.
For collectors and lovers of fine art, my pieces are available as exclusive Fine Art Prints. In partnership with WhiteWall, each artwork is produced to gallery standards, preserving the magic of these fleeting moments with the highest quality.
The Silent Art of Seeing is more than nature photography - it is a way of perception, a mindful awareness, a vision that lingers beyond the surface.
Warm regards,
Julia
